Guest artist Jesse Cole showing sleeve tattoos

Symmetry you
can meditate on.

Jesse builds mandalas and ornamental panels dot by dot, mapped freehand to your body's centre lines. No two are alike: each starts from your measurements and grows outward — throat, sternum, shoulder cap, full limb cuffs.

Guest chairs open two or three times a year and fill within days. His books are currently closed while he finishes in-progress bodysuits; the journal announces every reopening first.

How Jesse works

  1. 01

Centre-line mapping. Your placement is measured and marked while you stand naturally — symmetry follows your body, not a ruler.

  2. 02

Freehand drawing. The mandala is drawn directly on skin so every ring sits true; you approve it in the mirror first.

  3. 03

Slow sessions. Dotwork cannot be rushed — sittings are paced with long breaks and a second-day check when needed.
